Bowl: Large Curvy Splash 2

The repeating curves on this vessel are a delight to form and result from being in the mood to play with the vessel while it's on the wheel. It was made carefully and then glazed liberally with overlapping blue, green, clear and rust colored glazes which all blend together to create different colors and finishes. I really enjoy the overlap of glazes when they are allowed to run into each other with little control and only some direction. Perfect as a fruit bowl or unique serving bowl. This could also make a lovely low vase for wide blooms like hydrangeas or peonies. 7.75" wide. 4.5" tall. 2 pounds 2 ounces. Porcelain stoneware blend. This piece has a partner that is also listed.
